Phillip Godkin, Chief Executive Officer

Phillip took the helm as Chief Executive Officer at SilverChef in February 2020. Stepping into this role during the challenging COVID pandemic, Phillip has concentrated his efforts on steering SilverChef towards further growth. His vision involves ongoing investments in the global hospitality sector, ultimately empowering a greater number of customers to achieve their dreams.

Before joining SilverChef, Phillip had two decades of experience within the Westpac Group, serving in a range of high-level leadership positions. His most recent role was as General Manager, Specialist Finance, spanning responsibilities across St George, Bank of Melbourne, Bank SA, Westpac, and Capital Finance.

Peter Forsberg, Chief Financial Officer

Peter assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer at SilverChef in December 2020, taking charge of the company's financial strategy and operations on a global scale.

With over two decades of experience as a CFO in both publicly traded and privately held enterprises spanning various industry sectors, Peter brings a wealth of financial expertise to SilverChef. Prior to his tenure at SilverChef, Peter served as the CFO of Thorn Group, a publicly listed financial services company. Additionally, he took on the role of acting CEO at Thorn Group for an 11-month period.

Robert Phelps, Chief Asset Management and Marketplace Officer

Robert came aboard SilverChef in February 2016, initially assuming the role of Executive General Manager for Australia and New Zealand. Subsequently, he took the helm as President of SilverChef Canada, guiding the Canadian business for a successful five-year period.

In 2022, Robert transitioned into a pivotal leadership role overseeing SilverChef's Certified Used division on a global scale. This division plays a crucial role in remarketing equipment returned through our flagship rental product, Rent-Try-Buy, providing a vital channel for business continuity.

Ben Ward, Chief Information Officer

Ben came on board at SilverChef in February 2020, assuming the role of Chief Information Officer. In this capacity, he takes charge of technology, global transformation, and strategy and operations on a global scale.

With an impressive track record spanning two decades in senior executive positions across diverse industries and organizations, Ben is a seasoned industry leader. His expertise lies in delivering results-driven business transformations, and his leadership in the field has garnered recognition from Gartner, Business Review Australia, and CIO Magazine.

Dunstin Lynch, Chief Risk Officer

Dunstin became a part of the SilverChef team in February 2017, taking on the role of Head of Group Risk. In this capacity, he shoulders the responsibility for risk management, corporate governance, fraud management, as well as audit and compliance on a global scale.

Dunstin is a seasoned senior executive with notable accomplishments during his tenure at SilverChef. These achievements encompass risk reduction through the implementation of robust controls and governance frameworks, along with his leadership in steering the company's response to the challenges posed by the COVID pandemic.

Prior to his journey with SilverChef, Dunstin dedicated 18 years to Heritage Bank, where he held various positions, culminating in his role as General Manager of Technology.

Amanda Tye, Chief People, Customer and Impact Officer 

Amanda embarked on her journey with SilverChef in January 2018, initially taking on the role of Head of People and Impact. Her dedication and contributions led to her appointment as Chief People and Impact Officer in 2022. In 2023, she expanded her responsibilities to include Customer Success, subsequently assuming the title of Chief People, Customer, and Impact Officer.

Boasting over two decades of experience in human resources across diverse sectors such as education, banking, and telecommunications, Amanda is a seasoned leader. She has a proven track record of nurturing high-performing teams and delivering strategic outcomes.

Before joining SilverChef, Amanda held the position of General Manager, Talent Acquisition and Development, at a major telecommunications provider.

Stuart Zalunardo, President Canada

Stuart became a part of the SilverChef team in November 2020, where he assumed the role of overseeing SilverChef's operations in Canada. Canada is home to an impressive number of over 100,000 foodservice businesses. Prior to this, Stuart held the position of Sales Director for Australia and New Zealand within the company.

Stuart boasts an extensive background of over 30 years in driving growth within the finance industry. Before joining SilverChef, he served as the National Head of Industry Business Banking at St George Group, where he led a national team of industry-focused business bankers across St George, BankSA, and Bank of Melbourne.

Jeremy Mangan, Chief Commercial Officer 

Jeremy came on board at SilverChef in July 2017, initially assuming the role of National Sales Manager for Australia. In his current capacity as Chief Commercial Officer, he shoulders the responsibility for spearheading growth, overseeing our Marketing and Sales teams, and cultivating our dealer channels across Australia and New Zealand.

Jeremy transitioned into the Chief Commercial Officer role after achieving remarkable success in transforming Certified Used into a profitable and indispensable remarketing channel for the business. Preceding this role, he served as the Business Leader for Business Development and Customer Experience.

Michael Yablon, Founder and CEO Econolease

Michael played a pivotal role in nurturing Econolease from its inception into becoming the premier non-bank finance provider in Canada's food and hospitality sector. His leadership has been instrumental in guiding and expanding the Econolease business, even after its acquisition by SilverChef in 2021.

Prior to establishing Econolease, Michael accrued eight years of experience at Shaw Communications, where he held the position of Director of Sales and Service in Central Canada. He also gained valuable insights and expertise during his stints at prominent organizations like Nike and the PGA Tour.
