Certified B Corporations are leaders in the global movement for an inclusive, equitable and regenerative economy. SilverChef was one of the first companies in Australia to certify as a B Corp on 23 June 2015. This year, we proudly recertified for the fourth time, marking a decade as a Certified B Corp and achieving our highest assessment score to date of 94.3 against a passing score of 80.
The SilverChef Group launched its global Community Program in 2022. This program includes Community-Equip, a special discounted finance option tailored for not-for-profit groups, and Community Grants, where we offer grants to community organisations, totaling $20,000 AUD each quarter.
In the 2025 financial year, the SilverChef Group proudly contributed a total of $203,000 to Opportunity International. This amount includes payroll donations from our team, matched by SilverChef, along with contributions from our customers. These funds are helping Opportunity International offer microfinance loans to over six million individuals striving to lift themselves, their families, and their communities out of poverty.
All our people receive two paid volunteering days per year. During FY24 SilverChef’s Aotearoa New Zealand team volunteered for several community organisations, including Kiwi Harvest.
